okay no offense but this book lowkey slaps.
one thing I need to just GET OFF MY CHEST is how FUNNY it was to me that the cullens were literally slinging bella over their shoulders like she’s a sack of potatoes THE WHOLE BOOK.
also I tweeted this but I am a lesbian woman but edward cullen got me in my feels. but like... I don’t want him... I want to be the lesbian edward.
also alice is a total babe and I love who they casted her as in the movie.
CAN WE DISCUSS THE VERY BRUSHED OVER TEENY SENTENCE WHERE EDWARD LICKS BELLAS TEAR OFF HIS FINGERTIP?
She doesn’t even question it. I’m not sure if it would have made me more uncomfortable if he said like, “salty.” BUT THE SILENCE WAS SO ODD.
I will say ONE SCENE I liked more in the movie than in the book was the baseball scene. Iconic. Music? Perfect. Blue hue? Perfect? It was more badass to me.
I mean, to me, yes. This book is kind of trashy romance but why does everything have to be so well written that you have to re read it 3 times to understand whats going on? SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED SOME TEENAGE ANGST.
