Exactly what I expected, and everything I wanted it to be. Fans of critical role c2 will love this throwaway porn joke turned real life romance novel - and will enjoy all the exandrian Easter eggs, like an appearance from the Opal of the Ocean in Nicodranas, and endless tongue-in-cheek reference to the six approved gods of the dwendalian empire! I think even those who aren’t familiar with critical role will love this book, as it is a beautifully constructed rpg inspired adventuring romantasy, with just the perfect amount of unpretentious smut. Fantastic addition to the genre.
