m3l89 's review for:
These Shallow Graves
by Jennifer Donnelly
Lots of characters were introduced within the first few pages, which I found slightly disconcerting as you can't the time to get to know them all and are a bit overwhelmed.
Once the book got going, it was a very compelling read. Although a bit slow in places and could have done with being 100 pages shorter. The ending seemed a bit rushed and just happened but the twist was good and I didn't see it coming entirely.
