A Savage Place by Robert B. Parker

3.0

Not his best work, But not bad. I love the way he describes LA as almost a charmingly dull, small city, especially compared with how it is now.  I tHink he gets SO CLOSE to understanding that Candy does what she does for systemic, patriarchal reasons but he whiffs at the last Second.

Finding Rachel Wallace is the better book in this vein IMO
