I was lucky enough to get the chance to read Vai's book early and I'm beyond thankful for that. The chemistry, banter, and tension between Lucia and Colton was top tier. The friendship between Lucia and Isa was everything. The sibling relationship between Colton and Maya (working on Landon too) was heartwarming. This book was full of meaningful and well-written characters.
If you enjoy a good sports romance with some added characterization, this is the book for you. Vai does an excellent job of reminding us not to judge people on what we think we know about them and to remember people are who they are for a lot of reasons.
