Tale of the Heart Queen by Nisha J. Tuli
3.0
This was the weakest book in the series for me. I flew through the first three books, but found this one to be difficult to finish. Somehow this book felt like it was simultaneously far too slow and far too rushed. There were a lot of unnecessary plot points that felt like they were only put in there to give every character a satisfying resolution.
It was painfully obvious thatTyr was going to be the one to take Zerra's place , but I still didn't love the resolution to that particular storyline. Beyond that, there were so many little details that were just a little too convenient for my taste. Rion's last minute change of heart, Nadir's mom coming back to life for five seconds out of nowhere, Gabriel suddenly meeting someone new to fall for... Need I go on?
Overall though, I did enjoy this series and I liked seeing how everything turned out. I would definitely read more by this author! I just found this final installation to be somewhat disappointing.
