The Sins of Our Fathers by James S.A. Corey

3.0

Filip was never my favorite, but it was interesting to watch him build a new life from scratch after walking away from the Free Navy and after the destruction of the ring gates.

The ending of Leviathan Falls left me wanting in that regard, and even though we got an epilogue from after the millennium, I found myself wondering to myself how each of the 1300 handled their isolation, wondering to myself how traumatic it would be to be so suddenly and utterly left alone. So I liked getting an inside look here at what isolation from the rest of the galaxy and every other planet in the ring network looked like, at least where Filip was.

I'm sad that this is the last we'll get of the Expanse, but still, this was well written and a decent way to tie up some of the loose ends, though it didn't tie up the loose ends that I necessarily wanted. The Roci crew, all in all was who I wanted to read about in the time that followed the destruction of the rings gates, but I guess Filip will suffice.
