Definitely better than its predecessor, but Inthink that’s because I enjoy reading about Rhysand and his friends more than Tamlin. Feyre is frustratingly annoying in this novel. She went from hunting to feed her family (like Katniss of  Hunger Games) to a floaty flower to a survivalist in the first book. In this sequel, her character continues to develop and thankfully gets stronger, which is what redeems the book and makes me think I may continue the series. Overall, so far this series does not live up to the hype for me.

One sticking point for me which brought down its point value was the climax.
Why was Feyre so upset about Elain and Nesta being put into the cauldron. The king said himself it was safe and then they would be Made and could spend eternity together. The fear the characters had at that point just does not seem justified to me.
