I really struggled to get into this book and found that my mind kept wandering. In the end, a woman has to give up her magic, power, connection to the earth and her garden, and spark for a man who in turn gets his life, his power, his connection to the land, love, and spiritually/emotionally healed. She then gets to write a cook book and get back into the kitchen. Really not loving the message.
