An Imperfect Offering: Humanitarian Action in the Twenty-first Century by James Orbinski

5.0

A must-read. This book highlights the worst and the best in a human; the pitiable depths and degradation in human character to the soaring compassion and selfless loving care that shines through. Hopelessness and hope coexist.

James is but one man out of the many who have courageously aided and cared for those in need at great risk to their own safety. Transformative work that people should read about and learn how politicians have to be held to account.
