King of Sloth by Ana Huang

challenging slow-paced

1.0

are we surprised, cus I am. now lemme explain cus I have a lot to say.

firstly I must say that I really liked other Ana Huang books, I know they're not perfect in any way, shape or form, but I had a good time reading them, knew exactly what I'd get and just turn my brain off and enjoy the ride. unfortunately this wasn't the here.

I hated the characters, totally hated them, the guy did nothing, literally nothing for most of the time and Sloane just icked me. i don't know exactly why but something was wrong, the way she did hate watch of romcoms? everything with her family? her entire storyline?

now about the storyline it was just so flat and shallow. I predicted everything since literally beginning and was just waiting till shit will hit the fan with some weird miscommunication pulled from ass. I did not expect some crazy thriller, but it was just so stereotypical, rich people drama ughh

I did not care about anyone or about the plot, even the cameos of previous characters did nothing to me, this book felt so lacking

the only thing that just slightly kept me curious was Vuk and maybe for him I'll give next book a chance, cus I lowkey feel like my time enjoying Ana Huang books has passed which is a shame since I love billionaire romances😩

also this book had no interest being 450 pages
