When you hear Breakfast at Tiffany's, you automatically think of Audrey Hepburn in her black dress and paper bag in front of Tiffany's. But how did that iconic scene and dress even come into existence? How did they get Audrey, who was referred to as America’s Princess, to play an NYC “bad” girl? How would the directors and producers get this movie to pass ethical and moral guidelines? This book explains it all.

I honestly feel like I need to listen to this one again to fully grasp everything. Especially the first half of the book. I feel like there was just a lot crammed in there. That would be my only complaint. I loved learning about all the behind the scenes stuff. This is one of my favorite movies of all time, so some of it I knew, but there was still a lot I didn't that kept the book interesting. There's a lot of Capote’s personal history in the beginning, which you can clearly see translates over to Holly Golightly. The party scene in the movies is one of my favorites and I absolutely loved how they made it come to life.
