i did enjoy this!! i think this is a really good, gritty, and beautiful debut. there were definitely shortcomings—four POVs in 380~ pages is incredibly ambitious. i feel like some aspects of the story were kind of glossed over. but otherwise you do feel for these characters, the setting is beautiful, and the story is powerful.
