Well that was cute.

This series has always prioritized a unserious tone and focus on quirky characters over everything else. This has its ups and downs, especially when the plot tries to dip into more serious moments (causing tonal whiplash, which I felt a lot more with this one), but it’s definitely remarkably, reliably unthreatening and lighthearted. Reyna and Kianthe are super cute together as always and the big cast of characters are fun to read about. One of those series that lifts my mood.
