The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score
5.0

I love how Lucy writes her fmcs as smart and absolutely capable.

Cat is a "fixer upper". She does home renovations - sometimes with her brother Gannon (from book 1 - The Fixer Upper). Due to a storm, many of the homes and buildings in Merry are unlivable, and since one of those homes is one that she'd worked on before, and since Merry gets most of it's funds from its Christmas Festival, Cat decides to fix the whole town.

She runs into interference from Noah, the single dad City Manager. He's got the wrong idea about Cat from the last time she was in town - when she had to defend herself from a handsy townie - but he doesn't know the whole story and therefore, has already decided he doesn't like her, and he doesn't want her help. But there won't be a Christmas Festival without the renovations and repairs needed.

The chemistry is REAL, and Cat is everything you want in a book heroine. You won't regret picking this one up.
