The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel
3.0
Definitely liked it. Had a couple issues with one of the narrators which might be confusion on my part, but whatever. Station 11 was more enjoyable but I did find all the characters rather interesting and the weaving together of their stories. Everyone's doing multiverse these days and there are chapters of what-could-have-been narrative. Maybe an interesting way of bringing hints of that concept in. The book begins with a series of vague moments, images, that set the tone, then dives into the first character. and just as you think that's the main storyline, it swerves to another for a while, and then another, staying with that character for a long while before sort of coming back out to the others. That worked ok, and very vaguely reminded me of David Mitchell's nested stories.
