A gorgeous end to the trilogy. What happens when love and obligation and trauma and consequence come to a head? The magic system in this world is SO COOL, and this man writes incredible women.

The fact that Bennett managed to make the primary villain of the first two-thirds of the series SO sympathetic that I CRIED at the end of his arc is truly a feat.
