A great book, to understand how the brain is structured, and how to rewire it. As it correctly mentions, our body/brain is biologically created for survival and not happiness. So, if we try to understand our happy chemicals, we can achieve a level of happiness.
As it says, our brain is fully wired with habits, by the time we are teenagers. So what most of us, can do is try to think of our past habits, what have we wired wrong and what right, and try to rewire our bad habits into new good/happy habits.
Although we shouldn't take it for granted that 45-days are enough, most probably we'd need a little more time.
