honestly, what don’t i love about this book? this book is a beautiful showing of love in all its forms. it’s nice to see a character with so much love in their life and open up to romantic love. the dynamic between aiden and lucie is so sweet and realistic. they truly become best friends first in that comfortable kind of way that make life feel less lonely. the side characters are so lovely and bring so much to the story. in romance novel fashion there must be a grand gesture and often the public kind can be cringe and weird but here it wasn’t. it felt right with all the right people there. that is how you do a public grand gesture! also i must give a “shoutout” to angelo’s character because i love a greek character in any book, even if the galaktoboureko joke is overplayed. it’s alway nice to have some greek rep <3
