It’s ok. I realize that I don’t love books where the main character has no friends. If the plot relies on a main character who doesn’t seem to have even a single friend who’ll tell them they’re being dumb, then I’m not sure I want to spend a ton of time with them either.
Nearly every part of this story relies on the main character not having a single girlfriend to tell her she’s being stupid. Very frustrating.
