I enjoyed this book, but did not finish it. I think it is partly because I have seen the movie (twice) and I had too many other good books to read. I think if I had obeyed my own rules (Always read the book before seeing the movie!) I would have finished it and really liked it. But the movie is so much like the book, which hardly ever happens, that reading it no longer appealed to me. Maybe in a few years I can pick it up and it will be fresh again.
