A Madman Dreams of Turing Machines
by Janna Levin
slow-paced
I was drawn in by the cover, and I find Turing to be an interesting person, so I thought I’d pick up this book. Almost impossible to get through. The book is a weird mix of (somewhat true) facts and random ramblings and metaphors that make very little sense, but are attempting to be deep and beautiful. The more narrative sections were somewhat good I thought, and what kept me going, but overall this book is a confusing mess.
