I use these books to cheat on my reading challenges 😈 I listen to the podcast episodes that correlate with the chapters in the book. Mostly, because the podcast usually elaborates more than the book does. It's also not a single story, so I can come and go as I please. ANYWAY. Mahnke is genuinely such a great storyteller and has a great voice for storytelling podcasts. While I've heard of some of the stories he talks about, most of what he's dug up and talks about are obscure and super interesting. Definitely recommend the podcast!
