I cannot decide whether I disliked this book or if I just cannot relate to the author’s lived experience. It felt diaristic and at times slightly uncomfortable, I felt like I was intruding on her life. However, it dealt with the topic of motherhood in a really interesting way and certainly considered the matter from all angles. I think I need to sit with it for a while before committing to any review above or below 3 stars.
