We follow Riah, a singer/songwriter, and Alex, a billionaire. So Riah was with Alex’s older brother Hunter, but he is just a billionaire man-child who didn’t deserve her anyway. Like I literally did not like him, so I don’t know how I am going to feel when I read his book because he needs one hell of a redemption arc.

Anyway, I did like that Riah and Alex started seeing each other because he did like her (in his own way) and, to a point, respects her and her career. Not saying that he wasn’t rude to Riah, which he was and there is no excuse for that but he took her more seriously and helped support her with his actions and not just money. He made her more comfortable, and let her be herself around him. Riah had a tendency of letting Hunter walk all over her, but I believe that she did have good character development.

I can’t wait to read Adly’s book, we got glimpses of her in this book and I already love her!
