Overall, I enjoyed this book, but it was hella aggravating for me!
Personally, I felt like it dragged on in a few places (maybe it could have been like 80 pages shorter?). And it drove me nuts. Zane was sooooo f*cking irritating for while. I totally can see why he hated Roach, but also, Roach did not do all those terrible things to him; he didn't even know what happened.
Then Roach was stupidly stubborn about telling Zane about what his own dad did to him.
This just felt like one of those instances where if THEY WOULD HAVE COMMUNICATED BETTER a lot of this aggravating bullshit could have been avoided.
Gale was sweet. I wouldn't mind seeing a book about him.
All that being said, I did enjoy this, but I'm not sure how to rate it. The fact that I don't normally write this much of a review for anything must say something. Sooooo I'm going to lean positive.
