Fire Weather: A True Story from a Hotter World by John Vaillant
challenging

5.0
While this is not a fun or easy book to read, it is important. The effects of climate change are happening in real time and this is one of the many effects of it. Wildfires. Which are only getting bigger, hotter and scarier. This should be recommended reading for everyone, but especially my fellow Canadians. This was excellently paced, well researched, and easy to understand even with science-y terms.
Moderate: Mental illness and Fire/Fire injury
This book talks about the devastation the Fort MacMurray wildfire caused as well as others. It talks about the PTSD that comes from it and the scary effects of climate change.
