The Apple Tree by Jewel E. Ann

Chemistry, banter, and a scene-stealing kid!

I really enjoyed getting to know Eve and Kyle through their slow-burn romance. While it took me a little while to fully settle into the story, once I connected with the characters, I was hooked. Josh, Kyle's son, absolutely stole every scene he was in, and his bond with Eve was especially heartwarming.

Despite the 10-year age gap, Eve and Kyle's chemistry felt natural and undeniable. Their banter was a definite highlight, and watching their relationship develop over time was deeply satisfying.

** Age Gap
** Preacher's Daughter
** Single Dad x Nanny
** Slow Burn

Although this is the second book in the Sunday Morning series, it reads well as a standalone with enough context to fill in any gaps. Personally, I've realized I'm not the biggest fan of age gap romances where the younger MC is barely legal, but that's definitely just a "me" thing.
