A great story. I feel like a lot of Dickens books I’ve read so far are the same - rags to riches, the end. This one hit on many similar themes but had a different, more exciting story. The first half of the book was a bit dull for me but the second half was great, each of the characters had so much depth added to them. Joe is my favorite and I liked him from beginning to end.
