A False Start by Elsie Silver

i really really enjoyed this one! Griffin and Nadia made a great couple, and i really liked each of their journeys. they were both so damaged, and decided to prioritize overcoming their individual problems without weighing the other person down. i really appreciated their personal growth and how they handled whatever came their way.

the romance towards the end of the book was great. the grand gestures and the love proclamations really made the ending great. however, the entire first half of their relationship didn’t really connect with me. i tend to not like books where the couple starts out only wanting to hook up and ends up finding the romance later on. their relationship felt like that to me, and i wish they had formed a deeper connection earlier on. but putting that aside, i really liked both characters and thought they were great for each other.
