I found this book quite slow to begin with but I think I enjoyed this book overall. I don't read a lot of historical fiction as I struggle with the unfamiliar concepts and the way the differences to now.
I didn't like the character of Lili very much at all. I liked Greta and I felt bad for her. I understand that the story was told with the lense of what Lili herself thought and I think it's good to read things where you can disagree with someone's perspective but still see where they're coming from.
