as much as i enjoy reading about cat and bones, a change of pace was indeed much needed. spade and denise were such a fun couple to follow, and this was probably the most interesting action in this series thus far. also, sorry cat, but denise is genuinely the most logical and straight-thinking person in this friend group. cat's brazen "bravery" that keeps getting people hurt was pissing me off. also everything about bones was pissing me off. so.
