I can't remember how I stumbled across this book, but I remember reading the title and synopsis and scoffing a bit, amused and thinking this would be pulpy and at least a bit trashy, but I ended up really enjoying it. It's silly, sapphic, smutty, sappy, tropey, utterly predictable and a pile of unbelievable drama and two dimensional bad guys, but it's super fun, well written if rather paint by the numbers, and I love the two mains a ton, as unrealistic as they are. Their interactions make me awwww. Nothing earth shattering here, and if you're a romance connoisseur this is probably generic and formulaic enough that you'd have plenty to pick at, but I had fun with this junk food and it made me feel good. No regrets spending a couple days on it!
