Okay, so…this book was really good. The author definitely did a lot of research - between medical books, movies (that don’t include Sybill) and DID YouTubers
It’s got some majorly dark themes - which, if the MC has DID of course it’ll be dark - but they don’t get into a lot of details just…letting you know what happened
It does actually specify about integration and fusion as well as the difference between both. If Dylan switches, it does tell you who is fronting or who’s perspective it’s in
The only reason I gave it this score, is instead of a higher score is that it only takes place over the course of about 1-2 months. Actually dealing with the trauma and other related issues take MUCH much longer than what happened in this book
Plus the amount of support from everyone is…a bit jarring in some cases - but the author did include someone who immediately snubbed Dylan when she tried to explain what was happening
But even then, it’s definitely recommended and we’ll written - especially if you’re curious how people with DID experience things
