Thank you to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for an early copy of 'Love & Other Disasters'

After coming across the synopsis on Netgalley for this novel, it immediately became one of my most anticipated reads for 2022. Which can only let you know the excitement in me when I was approved for an early copy!

Dahlia and London are so near and dear to me now. Seeing these two people who come from two different lives come together because of their love of cooking and watching them blossom felt like such an honor.

Anita Kelly writes pining and chemistry so wonderfully! Feeling what both Dahlia and London were also feeling in regards to each other and their passion for cooking was something I wasn't expecting, but was so happy to receive.

There were moments my eyes got misty, where I smiled like a fool and times I just hugged my kindle for a while before continuing. As a reader, what more could I ask for.

I appreciate this love story between a Nonbinary person with a Queer woman who has never been with anyone other than her ex husband. It gives hope to us who haven't dated since coming out as Nonbinary but also hasn't had much experience in Queer dating, too.

Another thing I appreciated was the realness about London being Nonbinary. Not everyone will be accepting, there will be that anxiety of being yourself, but being surrounded by people who love and support you just makes it a bit easier.

As I've said before, I adore Dahlia and London's relationship so much that it hurts. I just want to protect them at all cost! I want this book to be adapted into a TV show so bad! I need more of the cooking challenges and I need to see this story on my laptop screen.

I'm so excited for Anita Kelly's next novel! I hope it follow's Dahlia's brother Hank or even London's twin Julie. I just need the next book soon!

Please pick this book up when it comes out on January 18th wither from you local bookstore or request it from your library. I know you'll love these characters and the cooking competition.
