I really love the use of second person omniscient in this novel. Second person has a tendency to feel repetitive and jarring, but it helps blend together the self-help breaks with the narrative. I found it interestin that Asia is the only proper noun used in the entire novel. Even though these are very specific experiences the characters face, it adds to the second person narration that forces the reader to emphasize with the story in a way that feels more reliable than first person would have.
What a choice to not succeed in fulfilling the "point" of the self-help and the name of the novel
