Before I Say Good-Bye by Mary Higgins Clark

2.0

This book lacked the usual MHC heart-pounding, page-turning qualities I expect from one of her mystery thrillers, until the final 100 pages. There were a couple of good twists (though I started to suspect them just a bit before the reveal) and the last third of the book really started to build momentum the rest of the book lacked. Even then, I couldn't justify more than two stars for this book, because so much of this book centered on psychic powers, which is something I just can't seem to get into. There haven't been many MHC books that have fallen flat for me, as this one did, so I'm not deterred from reading more. This one, however, was not an example of her better work.
