As much as I loved the atmosphere and the rich settings, this book just annoyed more than I enjoyed it. I loved the traveling aspect and how Forman desribed all the places Allyson went. That was my favorite part of the book.
I just got so annoyed with Allyson. She was an annoying, selfish, bitter brat. Allyson lashed out at everyone and shut everyone out. She was a compulsive liar. That's the point of the self discovery aspect I guess but how am I supposed to root for her if I just want to punch her?
