A Song Below Water by Bethany C. Morrow
4.0
i’m a little conflicted on whether rate this 3.5 stars or 4 but, i’m giving the 4 because of the beautiful sisterhood theme.
a song below water is a wonderful story on misogynoir, sisterhood, identity and the criminalisation of black bodies. i was a tiny bit disappointed only because i expected more but i still really liked this story.
oh and yes, i still hate naema ✨
