This is a small town, cozy romance filled with found family, swoon, and suspense. I really had a hard time putting this one down because I just had to know what happened next. I was hooked from the very beginning, and that continued as we learned more about the secrets of the town.

I really enjoyed watching Cassian and Romy’s friendship develop throughout the story before turning into something more. They were able to build a really strong foundation throughout the story, while navigating really complex feelings and external situations.

The pacing and writing style were just right for me to stay fully engaged in the story, and the characters really pulled at my heartstrings.
