As a woman recently diagnosed with ADHD, it was so helpful to see how Raine’s symptoms manifested in daily life situations. I found myself nodding along and recognizing things that I do myself; the representation felt really authentic and not shoehorned in. Same goes for Jack’s OCD!
They had great chemistry, and I appreciate how upfront they were about their attraction to each other. The empathy and communication were great! You got the sense that they truly understood and supported one another in ways other people in their lives couldn’t.
Highly recommend the audiobook; the voice actors were lovely, and the accents were well done.
