I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I initially bought it after being a fan of The Divergent series, even though it sounded complicated and there were some pretty bad reviews... so it sat on my shelf for almost 2 years... maybe it was my low expectations, but I really liked it! It did start off a bit slow and confusing, but I think that’s the case with most books where a whole new world is created! You have to learn a whole new glossary of words and terminology, but once you do you get to escape to pretty cool new world! I definitely plan on reading The Fates Divide and seeing what happen with Akos and Cyra!
