Blood, Fire and Gold: The Story of Elizabeth I and Catherine de Medici by Estelle Paranque

The Renaissance periods across Europe have always been so fascinating to me, and the Tudors were one of my first interests, so this book was practically made for me! I also enjoy Estelle on podcasts and her videos. I found this book to be very informative and it really cleverly switches between England and France, and draws very interesting comparisons between the two queens. I'm looking forward to Estelle's next project!
