Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

3.0

I found Anna Karenina a bit long-winded and heavy on the drama. The characters go through a lot of emotional turmoil, and at times it felt like it dragged on more than it needed to.

That said, I can still appreciate it for what it is: a deep and thoughtful novel, especially impressive for its time. The writing has moments of real insight, and the social commentary is interesting in context.

Overall, not quite my style, but I’m glad I read it.
