Bad Cree by Jessica Johns

This book was almost a DNF. Pretty early on I realized this book wasn’t what I was expecting/in the mood for (no fault to the book, just a misunderstanding based on summaries I’d seen).
This book was high on my priority list and the writing was good so I decided to keep reading. I’m so glad I did!

Really enjoyed seeing the family dynamic and culture explored. This book shows how our family/community influence how we grieve and how not processing grief will catch up with us.

Writing and characters were well developed and this was a real page turner.
