Dark humour usually isn't my jam, but this was quite enjoyable. Although, there were quite a number of vicarious stress moments on behalf of Jack , especially at the airport and when Linda continually kept deliberately misgendering him .
I particularly enjoyed the spot on descriptions of Noosa and surrounds, it's inhabitants, and (spoiler to pg 137)the grocery shopping experience , and lines like (spoiler to pg 257) "Linda knew whom she could trust: the neighbourhood Facebook group."
