adventurous dark emotional reflective tense medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? No
  • Loveable characters? No

  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

2.5

The only thing I found fascinating about this book is the fact that Aldous Huxley managed to tell a story of these whole infantile engineering and all that in the year of 1932. Aside from that, I found this book unenjoyable. The last chapters, to me at least, read as a QnA section to explain situations within Brave New World towards confused readers--with the Controller as supposed all-knowing narrator and the rest of characters the readers--unwilling to just let us read it as it was.

All I'm saying, it didn't have to be THIS long. And it's also forgettable.
