The Forgotten Girls: A Memoir of Friendship and Lost Promise in Rural America by Monica Potts
5.0
Amazing book. If you’ve spent any time living in rural America, this is a must read. The story Monica Potts tells can be found in many places in rural America, not just Arkansas. Also, a lot of perspective in this book about how higher education can better serve first generation students, especially from small, rural communities.
