Emma's heart has just been broken by a man she thought was the one. In a moment of weakness, she wishes she never had a heart to begin with. When a mysterious stranger grants her wish, she quickly realizes her mistake and is sent on a mission to find the seven pieces of her broken heart.
This was actually a big surprise to me for how much I ended up liking this. It's an extremely simple story, but one that definitely hit home for me. Emma travels across the country in a journey of rediscovery and I loved watching her piece herself back together. It had such a beautiful message in the end, and I loved Emma coming to realize that she's worth more than some man. I absolutely adored the ending and I really hope there is a second graphic novel coming because I need more of these characters!
