The Queen's Resistance by Rebecca Ross
4.0
Overall:
Content warnings: torture
Rep: biracial mc, found family, sisterly bonds, siblings bonds, father/daughter bond
Thoughts
Neutral thoughts:
I didn't know going into this that this was going to be in duel perspective between Brienna and Cartier! And I thought that was really interesting and it honestly kept me more engaged with the story.
The pacing in this one was MUCH better than it's predecessor, but I think it definitely still could have been worked on.
Pros:
The relationship between Jourdain and Brienna was so cute!! I really liked seeing their relationship grow and grow stronger
